Crushing On: Julep

02.14.14

Happy Valentine’s Day, friends!

In honor of the day of LOVE, I’m launching a new series to highlight the plethora of blog crushes I fall victim to.

Let’s pretend we’re in middle school passing around notes and I’m all giddy and stuff. (Alan will attest that my blog crushes really do make me giddy. I’m easily excitable).

You may remember the fantastic heart disco ball I featured in my Make It Friday from a few weeks ago? Well that project led me to explore Julep further and now I officially have a new crush.

Julep is the blog brainchild of Mintedan online shop specializing in independently designed paper goods. Besides pretty DIYs like those above, Julep is a super place to go for party ideas and design inspiration.

Plus, some of my favorite big-time bloggers are involved, like Victoria Smith of SF Girl by Bay and Jenny Batt of Hank and Hunt. Which means, I’m hooked for sure.

The one drawback with fawning over a blog that is associated with a shop? Now I want to buy all the things. I just discovered that Minted sells gorgeous wall art. Bad bad news for my savings account!

I’m more than a little smitten with this fox print and kind of wish I’d found it in time to maybe get it for Valentine’s Day from a certain someone hint hint:

What blogs have made your heart go pitter-patter recently? And speaking of racing hearts, what are you doing for Valentine’s Day tonight? Here’s hoping you have a great time, whether it’s with a sweetheart or a friend!

This post was sponsored by Minted, but all opinions are really truly my own—promise! I only accept sponsorship from brands I think you will appreciate as much as I do. Thank you for supporting the companies that make Jade and Fern possible.
