I like crafts and I like DIY, but I like organization most of all.

Actually given yesterday’s enthusiasm over ripping out cabinets and shelves in our entryway, DIY might be starting to win over organization at long last. Luckily this project involves both, so we don’t have to choose.

I’ll be up to my elbows in my entryway makeover with IKEA for the next few weeks, but I’ll try to keep the simple projects coming! (You deserve it after reading through my DIY kitchen cart transformation, you troopers, you!)

  1. Thank you for the explanation what mud cloth is. I was wondering for weeks now where to get it and where it originated (not so urgent that I actually investigated) but I’ve seen it pop-up everywhere lately.

    I might (steal) reuse the idea of making my own mud cloth design. This looks so cute!

      1. Absolutely. I love learning about old things and techniques and interpretating them new – it’s so fun to learn about things from other parts of the world. Don’t you think?

    I still haven’t DIY’d yet this year. Too many pine eye/flea infestations to deal with! Hah
