Giveaway! Win a Basket of my Favorite Things

11.15.17

**The giveaway is now CLOSED! Thank you to everyone who entered!**

SOMEHOW, the holidays are upon us. And besides the shopping and decorating and wrapping and eating…that means it’s time for all the holiday giveaways.

I’m so, SO excited to have teamed up with a group of my favorite bloggers for the Favorite Things Giveaway. My good friend, Amy of Delineate Your Dwelling, is the mastermind behind this idea.

And as the name implies, we are each giving a way a basket of our favorite things to share with you, our readers!

The best part about holiday giveaways? Since you’ve already made your shopping list for your loved ones (you have, right?), you don’t need to feel guilty about keeping the prize for yourself!

As you might be able to guess from my DIY gallery and Instagram feed…my favorite things include a hefty dose of crafts, copper, and cacti. That’s right, it’s the Three C’s Basket, and you are going to want to win it.

Up first we have Danny Gregory’s Art Before Breakfast. A good friend of mine gifted me this book a few years ago and I LOVE it. The vast majority of you told me in the reader survey that you’d like to be more creative but you don’t have the time. This book helps you squeeze in little moments of creativity in your busy life.

Another little gift for anyone itching to get their DIY on: my very favorite craft material, copper leaf!

You can use these supplies to make your own DIY copper mirror, gild a picture frame, make abstract art, or copper leaf all the things. Just remember: copper makes everything better. EVERYTHING.

Because this cactus pen got such a strong reaction when I shared it on Instagram, I just knew I had to include one in the basket for you guys. I’ve paired it with one of my DIY mudcloth notebooks so you can jot down all your ideas on your creative journey. And, these ridiculously pretty ombre sticky flags I found on Amazon.

Finally, a couple other fun items that you will love: cactus washi tape, two giant copper binder clips (great for hanging art like in my workspace), and these bitty copper wire string lights. I hang the lights right by the bed for when I want just a tiny amount of cozy, soft light — more than a candle, but less than a bulb. They would also look GORGEOUS on a little tree for the holidays.

    1. That’s one of the reasons I wanted to include it! I hope you do give it a try even if you don’t win, a little goes a long way. I’ll be linking to the items after the giveaway ends so you can find the same one. Good luck!

  1. I can’t wait to learn from you. The copper leaf has always scared me but now I can’t wait to try. Wonderful prizes and beautiful blog.
