It’s no secret that I love me some white, bright, and airy interior design. Crisp white walls with big windows, oodles of plants, and subtle neutral tones dominate my Pinterest boards.

And yet, somehow, as I began scheming about bedroom design ideas for my “newly single bedroom sanctuary,” I turned to the dark side. Helloooo, moody blue bedrooms, I’ve got the heart eyes for you.

Maybe it was time for a change. A new look for a fresh start. Maybe it’s because I read that people with blue bedrooms sleep longer, and my body needs all the help it can get in that department.

But probably, it’s just because I completely fell in love with Nina’s blue grey bedroom on her blog Stylizimo. That slate blue called to me. Paired with white bedding and a touch of greenery? I die. 

Because the internet is a magical place, there is plenty more moody blue bedroom design inspiration to be had. Get ready to drool, my friends.
