It’s here — the end of 2016!

I have totally mixed feelings on this past year. Things were pretty good for me personally, but a lot of crap happened in the world that was just, well, awful.

But that’s not why we’re here! If you’ve clicked through to the bloggy I imagine it’s to get a break from real life and focus on how to make all the things.

So here we go, friends: 16 favorite DIYs in 2016.

I’ll be up in New Hampshire with friends for New Year’s Eve, and then in Pennsylvania visiting my brother for the first week of January. There’s a slim chance I might be able to finish up a big project I’ve been working on before then, so you MAY hear from me again soon; if not, see you in mid-January!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for continuing to devote some of your screen time to Idle Hands Awake. There’s a LOT of things drawing our attention on this crazy thing called the internet, so I am honored that my little blog is one of them.

Happy New Year! How are you celebrating??
