Heat wave #2 is in full swing here in New England and it is TOO HOT. I find that I am reduced to a wilting, whining whingebag when it’s hot, so I am completely incapable of doing DIY projects right now.
Instead, here’s some pictures from a recent bowling brunch at Sacco’s Bowl Haven. If you’re in the Boston area, you must check out this great Somerville gem. Old-fashioned candlepin bowling and oven-fired flatbread pizzas are a great way to start the weekend.
Stay cool, my friends.
LOVE bowling! And that place looks super fun 🙂 DIY in the heat is a no-go for this PA girl too, if it makes you feel any better.
It really is! Have you ever done candlepin bowling? It’s different, way more fun in my opinion. I MIGHT venture into the basement for some DIY stuff later as it’s a little cooler there. If I can peel myself off the couch (literally).
love these pics! I’ve only been bowling once & hated it, but it kind of looks better here. more fun.
Thank you! It really is a great place, people even have wedding receptions here. If you’re in the area you should check it out!
