A. and I are back from our mini sojourn to Brattleboro, Vermont and we LOVED it.
The weather in Boston was hotter than hell last week and although VT was no different, we did manage to find a few ways to cool off. We swam in the Connecticut River, had some beers (A.), collected some stones (me), and dodged from thrift shop to thrift shop for the air conditioning (me, dragging A.).
Yep, it was awesome. And as always with awesome vacations, it was a little hard to come back to regular old life. Luckily we had our two kitties and the end of the heat wave to welcome us home.
Your turn, readers, where has this summer been taking you?
I love the idea of cooling off in the river! Hopping in the Schuylkill just doesn’t sound nearly as refreshing 🙂 We are doing a summer full of stay-cation/renovation fun – nothing too exciting, but I did find a new brunch place!
Brunch sounds pretty exciting to me! 🙂
Beautiful place! ~M.
