Finally a use for those thrift store belts that are too worn to wear; turn them into DIY minimal leather circle earrings!
Hi, I’m Marlene, and I’m perpetually two months behind.
I mean really, is it August already? REALLY??
Moving on, just popping on quickly today to share another Curbly project, these DIY minimal leather circle earrings.
Leather is so trendy right now that I keep trying to think of new ways to use it.
But, since I’m vegan and don’t buy *new* animal products, I used old leather belts I picked up at the thrift store to craft these earrings.
So not only is this an environmentally-friendly DIY, but it’s good for your wallet. Which you can then also turn into earrings.
Check out the full tutorial over on Curbly, and let me know if you would wear leather earrings in the comments. I’d also love to know what’s been keeping your hands busy the past few weeks!
Oh and guys, I swear I am still making DIYs that are just for you! Bear with me, please, it’s been a crazy busy summer. More projects for you lovely readers are coming your way soon!

Loving this simple DIY project! Just pinned, too.
Thank you, Amy! Simple DIYs are the best!
I love that you find a way to repurpose pre-loved leather instead of contributing to the use of new!
Oh yes, it’s especially important to me to recycle animal products! Thanks for reading, friend! xx
