Helloooooo, dear readers! Moving chaos continues here in Somerville and my sanity is rapidly dwindling.
But look, I made a thing! And it’s so easy that you can make it even in the midst of a totally stressful move. Plus you can make them in under 30 minutes (not counting drying time).
Check out the tutorial for these DIY rattan jewelry organizers over on Curbly. I LOVE how they came out — it turns out cane webbing is the perfect material for stashing earrings!
My dears, I promise that one day soon I will have projects JUST FOR YOU again.
It definitely won’t be this week though. Because this move is rather last-minute, I was unable to find ANY available trucks or vans for my actual move-in date. So I had to move everything this past weekend.
I’m now writing this from a bare room with just a hastily packed suitcase, an air mattress, some photo gear and craft supplies, and Jax. You know, the essentials! 😀
Oh, and did I mention the heat wave with temps into the 100s this week? Yeah, I’m looking forward to this summer being over.
I’d love to hear what you think of this jewelry display idea, and how you are doing! Is anyone else moving right now too? My sympathies if you are!
P.S. Those amazing white horseshoe earrings are by Sarah Hearts, and the leather circle earrings are a DIY too!
